Photos of my Co

OK so these are pictures of me and my CO Rachel from second term, sorry about photos being the wrong way around all the time, I just dont have the time espeacially with these slow computers to change them. But you can just turn your head.

First Pic is Rodeo Round Up, a dance

Second is after our girls dressed us up for a fashion art show in evening wear and swim wear. We won a candy trophy, me and Rachel were not impressed.

Third is from Camp out trying to break fire wood

The last one is from wreck night where we had a massive food fight.

I'm in Houston and there is no problem

So i'm in Houston. Its the place to be. We (by that I mean me and four other counselors) are here to pick up the Houston bus and kids in the morning. Which means that we get to stay in a fancy hotel and have money to spend on food, and we get paid. Its great! Like this term has been, it was a crazy. term, but so much fun. The kids this term were definatly more of a challenge but I had an amazing CO, and we made it through with many good memorys of which I will try to show some photos of later. THis term I have been moved up to D compounds which is the Divas, like they are thirteen which should be interesting, challenging, growing but fun.
Every term God pushes me a little bit and every term I grow a little bit more.
Anyhow will post some photos when I can

Term Two

OK so term 2 thirds of the way through and it has been super super busy. My kids are very interesting but pretty good, my co is amazing I'm so lucky to have her!

Sadly though this term the lake that we use to boat on died. There has been a drought here since 2007 and with the record breaking temperatures we have been having were just to much for poor Travis no longer exsists so I dont get to drive boats anymore, which is sad. But camp is still awesome!!

Photos!!!

Here you guys go I'm finally on my Selah (the twenty four hour period that I get off every term ) so I finally had time to out a couple of photos up, hope you enjoy.
This is cabin after paint wars, those T-shirts were once white......
This is after our midsummer snow ball fight that actually involved a whole lot of flour.
Yay for the laundry room the social hub of CBS when we have free time.
My COs, Heather on the left and Alison on the right. They are fabulous.
Peace love and CBS, we dress up like hippies and dance to old school music. There are lamas that randomly, walk around camp, the are sooooo funny, most retarted animals ever, they are like a sheep crossed with a giraffe. There are also donkeys (they always looked depressed) that walk around and there are a lot of horses including the miniture variety but they dont just walk around. Me playing sports? I know! This is team comp during orientation week we are playing Four Ball, I sucked at it. But I am supporting my brother team the Texas Rangers with my super cool red shirt. Rrrrrrrrr me hartys tis the pirate ship. What more can I say?

Thats all for now folks will post more later (lol if I can!!)

If you want more the camp posts photos everyday so check out the Camp Balcones Springs Website or follow links of photos of me on facebook. Orientation week is where we learn to do the job which actually means we sit in meetings for the morning then go play on pirate ships and jetskis ( which i may get to drive more over summer ) in the afternoon. Any how this will be all for now is it is late at night and the campers arrive tommoro, yayyyy. So I will have even less spare time.

Lots of Firsts

This is the first time I have....
Been in America
Been in the Northern Hemisphere!!
Driven on the wrong side of the road (which still catches me some time)
Had people find MY accent fascinating
Been to Wallmart!! ( when they say you can get anything at wallmart they mean it!)
Trained to be a life guard (of the American certified variety)
Seen a squirrel
Seen a humming bird ( dad I'm not sure if you have ever seen one but you would like them, they are incredible to watch and super super cute)
Had American hot dogs in America around a camp fire
Saw a water snake (which here at camp are called loose cables to avoid freaking out all the campers)
Watched a heat lighting storm, so bizzarly beautiful

The list really could go on, its been a week of firsts. but it has been fun. Today the lifeguards, which is me and 20 or so other people practised saving each other from drowning. I know swimming around in the sunshine on a hot hot day may seem like easy work, its not (entirely that is). Pretending to drown time after time is hard work!, but still lots of fun and it will be worth it to save lives! Although I did end up swallowing half of lake Ted (which is soooo pretty, turns out this part of texas isnt a desert and actually has a lot of green). Anyhow thats all for now, ya'll (yes they do say ya'll, a lot) have a lovely tomoro, as in the rest of your day and I am off to bed.

By the way mum, I'm gonna have to get you to send me a package with some kiwi food in it, they have never heard of hokey pokey!!!! I'll give you some details later.

And cush if you ever read this I will get your number off you and give you a call some time cause they play some of the craziest cool games here which would be fantastic for youth on wed!
